The day before Heinrich Heine, a German scholar, poet and essayist died on 17th February, 1856 said, "God will pardon me, it is his trade."

But what happens when God decides to step down from his pedestal after twenty eight centuries.

We mortals often turn to God only to obtain the impossible. He is so bored and tired and sick of the rituals, century after century. He also wants change. He wants to come out of the dark corner of the temple and live like an ordinary being.

God's descent and his inability to find a job lay bares the problems faced by the common people and the devices they have to adopt to stay afloat in the social mire.

Mandir Mein Hadtal, a hilarious comedy, is Hindi adaptation of Marathi play "Vithal To Aala Aala" by Sh P L Deshpande with subtle message presented by KissaGo's after our highly acclaimed productions - Jee Huzoor, Kamla, Ilhaam and Masala Chai.
