'Anushtup' is a prgressive rock band dedicated to the cause of toiling masses. It seeks to use music to raise the pressing problems of our society and give voice to the voiceless. It performs the songs written by revolutionary writers and poets such as Faiz Ahmad Faiz, Habib Jalib, Bertolt Brecht etc. It also makes an intervention in various mass movements to strengthen the voice of working class. So far it has performed in Delhi and Lucknow. This is going to be it's first performance in Hyderabad.
