Octopus Limited Estd. 2024 is an adaptation of the renowned Bengali playwright, Mohit Chattopadhyay's play, Octopus Limited. The play deals with capitalism and how deep its roots are in our society and minds.

An actor comes to audition for a play based on Shakespeare’s Hamlet, that is to be staged the next day. Or is it just ‘based’ on Hamlet?

Synopsis:
It is a story about two college students, Shiva and Hari, who became friends in their freshman
year. They had a lot in common, including their strong ambitions to achieve their dreams, which
required a lot of money.
As time passed, they both got into smoking weed, and soon enough, it became an addiction.
They started to spend most of their time getting high, neglecting their studies, passion and even
their friendship. One day, they realized that they needed a lot of money to achieve their
dreams and came up with an idea to start selling weed.
Their business flourished, and they were making a lot of money. but it wasn't long before things
started to go wrong. They got involved with the wrong crowd and started to have conflicts with
each other. Their addiction to weed grew, and their friendship began to suffer.
As they both reached the peak of their business, they lost sight of their values and were willing
to do anything to make more money. The shortcuts they took to achieve their dreams didn't
bring them true happiness.
In the end, Shiva and Hari decided to quit their business and focus on their friendship and
dreams in a more positive way. They realized that they needed to work hard and be patient to
achieve their goals. They learned that true happiness comes from doing things the right way,
and they pledged to never let their addiction control them again.

Its workshop focuses on reuse, repair, and sustainability. We require a table, chairs, electrical outlets, a clean restroom, and access to drinking water. We're going to bring our tools. Visitors would be performing their repairs alongside the mentors. We conducted one such workshop in June 2023
