Chainpur ki Daastaan is a satirical comedy set in the quirky princely state of Chainpur—an imaginary land where corruption, chaos, and convenience live happily together.
Peaceful, corrupt routine of the village people is shattered when news arrives that a secret government officer from Delhi has come to investigate their misdeeds. Panic spreads, plans are hatched, and misunderstandings explode. What follows is a hilarious series of blunders, confusion, disguises, and desperate attempts by Chainpur’s officials to impress, mislead, and survive the so-called “khufiya afsar”.
Filled with humour, exaggerated characters, sharp social commentary, and lively drama, Chainpur ki Daastaan playfully exposes the absurdities of power, bureaucracy, and human greed—reminding us that sometimes reality is stranger (and funnier) than fiction.
