About the Author:Sumana Chandrashekar is a ghatam player, writer, and researcher from Bengaluru. A student of Sukanya Ramgopal, she has performed widely and worked on experimental, collaborative, and educational music projects. Her research explores intersections of language, migration, gender, and music.
