Join us for a screening of Goutam Ghose and B. Narsing Rao's film 'Maa Bhoomi', which captures the spirit and events of the Telangana Peasant Uprising. As we reach 77 years since the annexation of the Nizam's Hyderabad state by India, the film is essential viewing to understand the complexity of the region's history.
The movie will be screened with English subtitles. The screening of the movie will be followed by a discussion on various aspects of the movie as well as about the glorious Telangana peasant uprising.
